We are so excited about another year of mission down at Lorne. Our entire team is passionate about what we do, and absolutely love the time we spend down in the community.
Unfortunately, due to the presence of COVID-19 throughout Victoria, we are unsure as to whether our mission will be going ahead this year. As you can imagine, it is quite difficult to plan ahead in these ever-changing circumstances without knowing future restrictions, health guidelines and local expectations.
At this stage, we are continuing to plan as if mission will be running. This year’s mission may look a little bit different, but we are expecting to go ahead with another year of mission unless it becomes clear that it is no longer a possibility. This will depend on a lot of factors including allowed gathering sizes, travelling restrictions and local permission, but we are going to do all we can to ensure another great year at Lorne.
We will be keeping this page updated with how things are looking, but if you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact our directors, Josh and Amy.
Our prayers are over the mission, participants, families, the team and the community of Lorne – we trust God’s plans are good, and we have faith that any outcome we can use for His glory.
